The Concept Audio CA series is the rugged touring and premium installation series of Concept Audio. All loudspeakers feature high power large excursion woofers and precision high frequency drivers coupled to proprietary constant coverage horns. Constant coverage horns combine the energy deliverance of the old angular Constant Directivity horns, with the low distortion and diffraction free dispersion of wave guides. The front grille is supplemented by a foam barrier that protects the speakers from plashed liquids. The foam is placed behind the grille for added protection. |
The range starts with an 8 inch full range cabinet designed for demanding applications where space is at a premium and continues up to a double 15 inch cabinet that can handle anything short of being a line array. All CA cabinets have a high frequency driver that can has enough headroom to enable the use of the speaker as a satellite loudspeaker that is paired with one of the CA series sub woofers, enabling even higher SPLs. This goes for the unobtrusive CA8F and CA10F, where multiple loudspeakers can share one overall sub for smaller applications that demands high quality audio. It is also valid for the 12 inch, 15 inch single and 15 dual cabinets that will need a sub per cabinet. |
